Volusia's First Disaster Relief Task Force

Join SCORE and Healthy Souls International, Inc. for first of three workshops featuring the program "Working together to support our community."

Uniting business owners, local government officials, church leaders, chambers, law enforcement, first responders, educators, nonprofit, social services, and healthcare workers to create a Disaster Relief, Task Force.

Being prepared before a hurricane helps us as a community to be more resilient to the impacts of the storm's wind and water. Not only does this help us overcome the environmental elements of the rain, but it helps us stand against the mental anguish, chaos, and hysteria that take place before and after. People under distress will make the worst, desperate decisions. Working together as a community can increase our chances of having a quicker recovery and survival rate. The time to prepare for any future disaster is now.

Our Moderator for this workshop is Loren Korn with WKMG-Channel 6 Click Orlando

Speaker information:
Maria Davila, Founder of Healthy Souls International, will be speaking about the vision for an emergency community task force.
