Simulated & Four-Color Process Printing Class 

With the demand for more elaborate prints TEXSOURCE  will be bringing in CHARLIE TAUBLIEB - one of the top Screen Print Industry technical consultants to teach an extensive 2 day class on SIMULATED & FOUR COLOR PROCESS PRINTING.

Hands On Workshops with Charlie Taublieb

Simulated & Four Color Process Combined

This workshop will focus on both simulated process and four color process.  There will be a run-down on the differences between each of the techniques and when they are best used.  An explanation of how to design for each one and procedures for ending up with desirable results will be discussed.

Step by step procedures on how to enhance images and how to separate a four color process image including proper resolution of the original artwork and the best type of artwork to work with.

Choosing an appropriate half tone count, dot angle and shape will be discussed and explained along with a formula for mesh selection.  Mesh counts and tension will be discussed to obtain maximum detail as will the emulsion best suited based on the exposure unit to be used.

Squeegee selection, print procedures, inks and print order will be addressed as well and all inks will be phthalate compliant.

These classes will be taught by renowned instructor and consultant Charlie Taublieb.  Taublieb has been a consultant for over 30 years and has worked in shops throughout the US, Latin America, the Caribbean, Europe and Asia.  He owned Great American Screen Designs, Ltd., an award winning automated screenprinting facility in Brooklyn, New York and Bullseye Screen Printing Supplies, Inc., a screenprinting supply company in Denver, Colorado.  Charlie also writes technical articles for industry publications in the US and several other countries.  He has authored dozens of articles covering a variety of subjects and printing techniques and is well known for his knowledge for designing and printing on black shirts.
