The home we are serving at is about 2 miles south of Airlie Gardens.

All registered volunteers will receive an email with confirmation details the week of the volunteer day. For privacy reasons, exact loation information is not shared publicly. 

More Information

Age Requirements: Youth (ages 14+) are permitted to volunteer, but must be accompanied by an adult (21+) who will volunteer alongside them and serve as a chaperone. Parental consent forms must be on file with WARM prior to the volunteer day.

Tools & Materials: WARM provides all tools and materials needed to complete repairs. You are welcome to bring your own favorite hand tools, gloves, knee pads, or other similar items that will make working outdoors and with your hands more comfortable! 

About the Homeowner: On WARM's 5th Annual Veteran's Day of Hope, our goal is to serve the families of veterans. On this day, volunteers will help Ms. Dottie and her husband, Robert, who is a U.S. Navy Veteran. They have lived in their mobile home for nearly 20 years, but due to limited financial resources, it has been difficult for the couple to make some urgent repairs to their home. Please join us this Veteran's Day of Hope to support safe housing for a U.S. Navy veteran and his family!

About the Repairs: Volunteers will help make Ms. Dottie and Mr. Robert's home safe again by repairing landings, steps, and kitchen cabinets.
