Hospitality Careers Initiative Information Sessions 

Be part of the first cohort for this new partnership!

Learn the basics of the hospitality industry, taught by university-level staff and endorsed by top employers in the region.

Go behind the scenes at top restaurants like New Haven's Shell & Bones and the Study at Yale. Learn what makes Marriott a great place to work. Mingle with event planners from Aramark.

Earn American Hotel & Lodging Association and ServSafe Credentials

All participants must be able to attend a May 24 Orientation at the University of New Haven, 300 Boston Post Rd., West Haven, CT. 

Classes meet June 5 - June 28, Tues-Wed-Thurs, 10 AM - 3 PM, on the campus of the University of New Haven.

Lunch, uniforms and transportation to employers sites is provided!

This first cohort of 20 people is offered FREE OF CHARGE thanks to a grant through the Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act, CT Governor's Reserve. CT residency required, preference given to residents of South Central CT. Age 18+ and high school diploma or GED required.
