Summer Soul Sisters - Longings, Leadership and Creating Life Beyond COVID19 

Our crazy world needs a woman's love NOW. 

On Mother’s Day I was gifted a Book of the Month Club membership by my son. When selecting my first book, I was astounded to find a new release, The Book of Longings by my favorite author, Sue Monk Kidd.  This book was described as a fictional story of Ana, the wife of Jesus.  As I waited for the book to arrive, another resource surfaced, a new podcast interview hosted by another favorite thought leader, Brene Brown PhD with Sue Monk Kidd.  As I listened to these two women discuss the longings of a woman’s soul, especially those that go beyond the roles of wife and mother.  Coincidentally I also began reading a book about conscious leadership that opened my eyes to what is missing in our divided political environment.  As I finished these books, protests and rioting broke out both near and closer to home.  I was both heart broken and horrified.  I pondered how I could play a bigger role in creating peace? 

Women of 2020 have time and energy to contemplate their unique talents and the many  choices for action to leave her mark on this planet.  

Is it time to discover and voice those longings.  Gathering with like minds is a way to discover and share truth while gathering support.  Learning that we are not alone gives energy so that thoughts become matter.  Although we can't yet meet in person, I've become adept at engaging groups via Zoom. I commit to facilitate to a  safe and open discussion of longings, leadership and a woman’s need to create and express love for the future of humanity.

This 5 week study will explore The Book of Longings by Sue Monk Kidd, incorporating deep questions, writing prompts, private chat rooms, exercises to awaken your awareness, EFT tapping and creative ways fuel for your sacred journey as a conscious leader.
