St. Francis de Sales Parish invites women of all ages to attend our 2020 Women's Retreat as we welcome Sister Maris Stella Vaughan of “The Wild Goose” Series and Ascension Press as she presents “Totally Yours, Mary: Discovering the Life-Changing Power of Marian Devotion”. She will be asking us these probing questions: “What does it mean to be totally Mary’s?” and “What does this mean for me in my daily life?”

A Dominican Sister of St. Cecilia (Nashville, Tennessee) since 2004, Sister Maris Stella has served in her Congregation’s apostolate of teaching and New Evangelization in several elementary, middle, and high schools in the US, as well as in the Netherlands, where she worked as a missionary for three years. Sister attributes her personal conversion and religious vocation to the maternal intercession of Our Lady, Star of the Sea. 

Join us Friday afternoon (4pm), January 31 to Sunday, February 2 (1:30 pm), 2020 at Marytown in Libertyville. This wonderful event includes meals and overnight accommodations at the beautiful shrine and neighboring accommodations at University on St. Mary of the Lake. Come as an overnighter or commuter. We fill every room, so make sure you register quickly!

Dinner is provided on Friday evening. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are provided on Saturday. Brunch is provided on Sunday. 

We are excited to try something new with the "Paint and Sip" event (optional-pay at time of registration) that will be offered for Saturday evening after our program ends. No need to have ANY artistic talent at all! All supplies provided. Join us for a fun time! If you wish to participate in the new "Paint & Sip" event, you MUST pre-pay in advance.
