ASHRAE San Diego November Meeting - Hydronic Loops: Why Performance Does Not Always Match Design - Dinner Meeting

Membership Night

Dinner is free if you bring a new ASHRAE member to the meeting.  Their dinner will be free as well.  They must actually sign up through the ASHRAE.org website or by bringing a completed ASHRAE membership form that can be found here.

Description

Energy and performance models make a few faulty assumptions about hydronic performance.  By understanding these assumption, we can have a better view of actual performance. This presentation will examine the performance impact of improper valve sizing, unstable system pressures and balancing device selection. It also examines the physical effects of valve authority and coil degradation.
