Building a Better Business Workshop Series 


Fridays, May 27th - July 8th, 2011
1:00-4:00 pm
at Mendocino Works Building in Ukiah

West Company Offers Build a Better Business Training Workshops designed to make you a successful penpaperbusiness owner. The series includes five 3-hour workshops that are designed to give new business owners the basic knowledge necessary to make their idea successful. 

The workshops can be taken as a series, or individually to brush up on specific skills.  The series is as follows:

May 27th: Got what it takes?  - An exploration of personal readiness for owning a business

June 3rd: Does Your Idea Make Cents? - Introductory course on business feasibility.

June 10th: Know Your Customers
- An Introduction to marketing and sales

June 24th: Communicating with Customers
- An introduction to marketing strategies, budgets, and sales.

July 1st:  Nuts and Bolts
- Introductory session on business management, logistics, and finances.

July 8th: Follow Your Money
- Introductory session on cash flow and profit and loss basics
