Then get CDT (Construction Documents Technologist) certified in the spring of 2018 with the support of Portland’s CSI Chapter. We offer classes with experienced instructors to help you understand the material needed to pass the exam.
CSI professional credentials are evidence of proven knowledge, education, and experience with construction documents. Holding a certification demonstrates professional commitment, credibility and reliability to employers, colleagues, and clients.
This nine-class series is useful for anyone in the A/E/C industry who is interested in understanding the process, roles/responsibilities, and project delivery from cradle to grave. This class is also beneficial as an additional resource to the textbook for preparing for the CDT exam. The CDT exam (Construction Documents Technologist) is the foundation course for all construction individuals. Studying for the exam will help you learn about contractual relationships and documents organization/procedures. Getting CDT certification means that you understand how a project unfolds from conception to delivery and you understand the documentation involved. Candidates can have any level of experience in any discipline in the built environment.
Advanced exams (CCS, CCCA, CCPR) will also be offered by CSI National during the spring exam period. You can get more information here.

Cost:
Registration here is for the class series only. The cost of the class does not include the exam registration fees or the Project Delivery Practice Guide (new version available on CSI National's website on January 9, 2018. DO NOT PURCHASE UNTIL NEW VERSION AVAILABLE). CDT candidates are encouraged to obtain a copy and read the AIA-A201 General Conditions, the CDT Study Guide and Addendum from CSI National's website.
Presenters:
The sessions will be taught by several local professionals (volunteers) with CCCA and CCS certifications. The course is based on CSI’s PDPG-Project Delivery Practice Guide.

Exams:
Register directly with CSI National for CDT, CCS, CCCA and CCPR exams, which will be offered during CSI National Exam Month (March 31 - April 26) at 400+ Thompson Prometric locations nationwide. Early bird exam registration for the lowest cost ends January 18, 2018.
