2019 WID Tech Tour: VirTra Hands on Immersive Training Simulation 

How does the Orange County Sheriff’s Department (OCSD) ensure they are prepared for the day-to-day, life-saving and dangerous missions?  OCSD uses VirTra – a 300 degree, stereophonic, interactive training simulator – and they are giving us access to it.

Join WID CFL on its annual Tech Tour to see if you have what it takes to be an Orange County Sheriff! You can participate in shooting and tasing scenarios with modified weapons. After the training session, you’ll receive an After-Action Review (AAR) and find out how well you performed in the simulation. Don't forget to bring a belt for the simulator weapon.
