2020 WID Tech Tour: VirTra Hands on Immersive Training Simulation
How does the Orange County Sheriff’s Department (OCSD) ensure they are prepared for the day-to-day, life-saving and dangerous missions? OCSD uses VirTra – a 300 degree, stereophonic, interactive firearms training simulator – and they are giving us access to it.
Join WID CFL on its annual Tech Tour to see if you have what it takes to be an Orange County Sheriff! You can participate in shooting and tasing scenarios using simulated weapons, followed by an after-action review (AAR) where you find out how well you did. Don't forget to bring a belt to holster your simulated weapon (you can borrow someone's if you forget).
