Posterior Ceramic Restoration: Diagnosis, Materials Adhesion and Occlusion

This presentation will review the latest advancements in the restoration of the posterior dentition with indirect ceramic materials. The course has been designed to provide the clinician with a deep understanding of the entire indirect restoration process from materials science and adhesion to cementation, occlusal adjustment, finishing and polishing procedures.

About the Speaker
Dr. Stevenson received his DDS from the UCLA School of Dentistry in 1986. After practicing general dentistry for 8 years in Laguna Niguel he accepted a full-time faculty position at the UCLA School of Dentistry as an Assistant Professor in the Section of Operative Dentistry.
He has published over 20 articles and abstracts on dental materials and authored three textbook chapters, one on Cast Gold Restorations for the 4th edition of Summit's Fundamentals of Operative Dentistry, and two Chapters on Restorative Dentistry in the textbook titled Best Practices in Dentistry: Restorative Complications.
Dr. Stevenson is a member of the Academy of Operative Dentistry, a Fellow in numerous Academies, a member of the R.V. Tucker Cast Gold Study Club, mentors several study clubs internationally and is an instructor in the UCLA Aesthetic Continuum.
In February 2007, Dr. Stevenson became the 58th Board Certified Operative Dentist, having passed all three phases of the arduous American Board of Operative Dentistry Examination.
Dr. Stevenson is currently Professor of Clinical Dentistry, and Vice-Chair, Division of Constitutive and Regenerative Sciences and Chair, Section of Restorative Dentistry.
