AT A BLUEGRASS & BBQ BASH!
LWVF TO RECOGNIZE CRIST FOR "MAKING DEMOCRACY WORK"
Come party with former Governor Charlie Crist and the League of Women Voters of Florida at a Bluegrass & BBQ Bash in St. Petersburg on Friday, July 15, 2011, at the home of Dr. Julie Kessel.

Join the League for an evening of ballots, bluegrass and barbecue, as we present former Governor Charlie Crist with the League's "Making Democracy Work" Award in honor of his contributions to Florida's elections system while in office.
As Governor, Crist signed a law ensuring a paper trail for all elections, worked to simplify the process of civil rights restoration and issued an executive order extending early voting hours during the 2008 election.
Event proceeds will benefit the League of Women Voters of Florida and the League of Women Voters of the St. Petersburg Area.
