Billie Swamp Safari: Seminole Indian
Reservation Tour

This November 15-16, take a break from the crowds and the noise and join your fellow League members as we explore the magnificent Florida Everglades! During this weekend trip travelers will explore Billie Swamp Safari located on Big Cypress Indian Reservation. Travelers will enjoy native Florida as they embark on a swamp buggy eco-tour, an airboat ride, view snake and swamp critter shows and even sleep in a traditional, Seminole Indian-style "Chickee"!

This trip requires that you bring your own clothing, towels, toiletries & shower items, and a flashlight! Travelers will be staying in traditional-style Chickees, where there is no electricity, running water or in-house restroom. There is a full-service restroom with showers nearby. The sleeping arrangements will be dorm style and sheets, blankets and pillows will be provided. Included in the registration fee is a personal guide, a private swamp buggy eco-tour, an airboat ride, snacks & refreshments during the tours, boxed lunch, a snake show, a swamp critter show, a meet & greet with the animal handlers, a guest speaker and dinner at the Swamp Water Cafe. Please keep in mind that this trip will resemble a camping trip. Registration is $240 for this trip.
