Workshop: How to Start a Business Without a Business Plan

A successful business start-up requires the combination of a marketable business idea and the ability to bring this idea to market profitably. There are numerous aspects involved in this process. How do you keep all these balls in the air at the same time?

Some recommend writing a business plan but this effort is very time consuming.  Moreover, it is hard to grasp element interactions and the plan can be out of date quickly due to changing market conditions.

An alternative is to prepare a one page Business Model Canvas which can be modified daily as conditions change until you are fixed on the correct business model and all its associated details.

This workshop will review the process of generating a creative marketable business idea and provide an overview of the idea-to-market conversion using the Business Model Canvas as the scaffold for the business startup elements.
