Solidifying Your Goals and Objectives

This workshop presents a technique for you to solidify your Goals and Objectives in a way that makes all your Critical Success Stakeholders into winners.

 Presenter: Winsor Brown has extensive experience with software development and engineering including technology transfer. He has a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from California Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Engineering Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. During his career, Winsor has been involved in such programs as Future Combat System, FAA's Enroute Automation Modernization, International Space Station, C-17 Software Program Management, software engineering technology transfer, Modula-2, and UCSD Pascal. Prior to joining USC’s Center for Systems and Software Engineering, Winsor had over 30 years of experience in software development, software engineering and software engineering management; it was gained through aerospace, industrial and commercial applications.

Winsor has taught and developed software engineering related professional development courses. He has taught for UCLA Extension, West Coast University, UCI Extension, and most recently upper division information systems and graduate level software engineering courses at the University of Southern California. In addition to authoring numerous papers, presentations and tutorials, he is a co-author of Software Cost Estimation with COCOMO II.
