Small Business - Creating Business Opportunities During Economic Challenges

The current economic crisis creates new opportunities for some small businesses to adapt and pivot to develop a path to recovery. This webinar will focus on real-world examples from product/service companies to show how they managed to navigate the crisis. Also, as the world has become more interconnected than ever, the presenter will share basic e-commerce plans and resources to take their operation to the next level.

Ayse Oge is a Business Consultant, Speaker, and Instructor. She taught global business at Long Beach City College and served as a Consultant at Small Business Development Center at Sherman Oaks and the Center of International Trade Development, Long Beach, and was Board Member of VITA (Valley International Trade Association), and current member of California Business Education Association. She previously worked at Brenner International as a Marketing Professional, imported high-end food products from Austria, Scotland, and Scandinavian countries.

Ms. Oge is the author of “The Millennial Global Edge,” “World Smart Veterans: From War to International Trade,” and “Go Global to Win: Small Business Guide in a Shrinking World." Her work has appeared in many publications, including Business Week, Bloomberg News, Global Trade, and Fox Business
