Take your Advocacy Efforts to the Next Level

Lawmakers have the power to change the credit union landscape with the stroke of a pen. Cornerstone Credit Union League is your advocate in the legislative and regulatory world, manning the front lines in the state capitals and Washington - in the hearings, offices, and hallways - safeguarding the interests of credit unions and ensuring that financial cooperatives continue to flourish. By developing long-term legislative strategies, maintaining vigilance with regulatory agencies, keeping League members informed of developments, magnifying the voice of credit unions everywhere, your League works to preserve an environment in which credit unions not only exist, but thrive.

But, there's more. Credit Union's can work on behalf of their own members to influence legislation. Never before have credit unions and its members had such an opportunity to educate and influence our lawmakers. Spend the evening with the Dallas Chapter of Credit Unions learning how.

April Krause, Political and Grassroots Director at Cornerstone Credit Union League, brings several years of experience working with credit unions through the Cornerstone Credit Union League  and as Operations Manager at Texas Telcom Credit Union in Dallas, TX.  Her experience working at the credit union brings firsthand knowledge of the “People Helping People” philosophy.  In her role as Political and Grassroots Director, she is responsible for working with and energizing credit unions and chapters to become more politically engagedthrough the CU: R.O.A.R program.  She is also responsible for working with credit unions, less than $50 Million in assets, to reach their CCUL PAC goals.
