DALLAS CHAPTER OF CREDIT UNIONS JUNE 2016 - NORTH TEXAS FOOD BANK

Join the Dallas Chapter of Credit Unions as we give back to the community on June 11, 2016. We will be volunteering at the North Texas Food Bank. Volunteers are asked to participate in tasks ranging from sorting incoming donations and unsalable items, to an assembly line which produces boxes of food items for their various programs.

The North Texas Food Bank is a nonprofit hunger relief organization that distributes donated, purchased and prepared foods through a network of over 250 partner agencies in 13 North Texas counties. Founded in 1982, the NTFB is a member of Feeding America (feedingamerica.org). Last year, the NTFB provided 62 million meals through its efforts. NTFB provides access to nearly 175,000 nutritious meals every day. Every dollar donated to the NTFB provides three meals for the hungry.

The Dallas Chapter of Credit Unions has been an active supporter of the NTFB.  Please join us by volunteering your time.  Let's show them the power of our cooperative organizations for this worthy cause!
