Tension in the body is a common denominator in our lives, arising from physical and psycho-mental stress, as well as from injuries and trauma. More importantly, bodily aches and pains can be the somatization of unfulfilled or unreleased feelings and thoughts that will eventually impact the autonomic nervous system and our immunity. Crucial to the practice of Chinese medicine is the use of Dao Yin and Qi Gong exercises to resolve these Jin-bindings in the fascia and sinews.\
Drawing from the traditions of Dit-Da Chinese osteopathy and Chinese martial arts, a number of sinew releases have been devised over the centuries to free up the muscles, tendons, and ligaments so the skeletal system can realign itself for greater mobility and motility.  Participants will learn and practice specific sinew releases of major bindings within the body-mind-spirit continuum.
