Please join the LPGA Amatuer Golf Association - San Diego Chapter to play one of the Orange County's exclusive courses at Pelican Hills Golf Resort - South Course!

Bring your cameras, it is Instagram time! A Tom Fazio designed gem. It was closed during 2005-2007, so he can "re-perfect" (as he termed), the course. He selected grass so that it can stay green all year round, and took out trees and shrubs to increase ocean views. The course has a signature 13th hole with 2 greens. Which green will we play, right or left? Standing at the same tee, you see the ocean behind the greens with the view of Catalina Island on a clear day.  The course is laid out so you drive a tunnel under Pacific Coast Highway to play several holes next to the water. Our Chapter was given a special rate to play, $175; $180 for guests. Regular rates are $295 without a caddie, $340 with a caddie, $190 twilight rate. If this course is on your bucket list, ink it on your calendar. We will never have this weekend offer again because the rates will only continue to go up.
