Step the Beat Music Fundamentals 

 

This early childhood program will take a summer themed twist. Session 1 will focus on Opera For Kids. We will explore favorites like Hansel and Gretel, The Magic flute and others. Session 2 will explore Folk Songs from around the World.  Children will learn music fundamentals such as rhythm, note reading and ear training in a fun and age appropriate manner through games, movement, listening and singing. Parent/caregiver participation is suggested when classes are by video.

Classes are limited to 10 children. A minimum of 4 children is required to run each class. 

• Preschool Ages: 4-6
• Two Summer Sessions:  June 2nd - July 7th and July 14th - August 18th
• Session 1 will be Opera for Kids (June to July) 
• Session 2 will be World Folk Songs (July to August)

Three time options for your classes

• Tuesdays 10:00 - 10:30 am
• Wednesdays 2:00 - 2:30 pm
• Wednesdays 3:00 - 3:30 pm

When registering please share all the days and times that you might be able to attend the class. Actual class day and time may be determined by enrollment.

Tuition:  $120 per session or $225 for both sessions.
