Students interested in composing their own music will begin the process with this weekly class that introduces compositional techniques while incorporating music theory and improvisation. Once the music is created they will perform their own work, and possibly that of the other students and then learn the recording and producing process.  This class will take the tune in your head all the way to a written and recorded product. 

Three classes available depending on age and experience.

Beginner 

- 2nd through 5th grades - Tuesdays 1:00 - 2:00 pm

- 6th grade and older - Thursdays 1:00 - 2:00 pm

Intermediate (should have created one original piece in written format) 

- 7th grade and older - Thursdays 2:00 - 3:00 pm

Session runs 6 weeks, June 23 - July 30

Tuition:  $250.00 

Rehearsal Location: Via zoom until in person is available again then resume at 2124 W Lawrence.
