Chicago's string ensemble for northside young artists.
The string ensemble is for the advancing intermediate string player ready to begin an ensemble experience. Being a member of the ensemble will enhance note recognition and sight reading, provide experience with conductors and learning to be a part of an ensemble rather than a soloist, all while learning new and exciting repertoire. There is space for Violin, Viola, Cello, Bass and Harp in the ensemble.
Young artists are required to have a working knowledge of their instrument and be able to efficiently read music.
- Weekly rehearsals are Thursday evenings from 6:15 - 7:15
- Location: in person at Musical Chairs Studio 2124 W. Lawrence Ave
- Tuition for Fall is $225 plus a materials fee of $25.
- September 8th - December 15th
- No class on Nov. 24
