9th Annual Drug Prevention Summit

Drug Free America Foundation Inc. is partnering with the Hillsborough County Anti-Drug Alliance to host 9th Annual Drug Prevention Summit.  The 2-day event will be held August 30-31, 2021 at DoubleTree by Hilton Tampa Airport-Westshore.  The goal of this summit is to increase awareness of the impacts of drug use and abuse, enhance knowledge of how to reduce access, change social norms and encourage discussion of current policies. The summit will focus on implementing successful prevention strategies and providing tools to empower communities to advocate for sound drug policies.
The summit format will be similar to last year in that over the two-days we will have 4 keynote presentations and morning and afternoon break-out sessions. In addition to offering CEUs for prevention and substance abuse professionals, we are excited to announce that we have partnered with Gulfcoast North Area Health Education Center, Inc. to provide CEUs for Nursing, Clinical Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, and Mental Health Counseling. Continental breakfast and lunch each day are included in the registration fee.

Exciting News!

The first 200 people to register will receive a copy of the brand new book, Smokescreen, by Kevin Sabet, Ph.D., Co-Founder & President Smart Approaches to Marijuana.
