MAPC 2015 Clean Energy Forum: Advancing Community Energy Planning

MAPC’s forum is targeted at two innovative, emerging trends that municipal officials can utilize to deliver cost and environmental benefits of clean energy to their communities.

  1. For municipal buildings, energy monitoring technologies now provide unprecedented insight into building operations. The visibility and analysis these tools deliver enable municipalities to better manage their portfolios, identify new savings opportunities, and perpetuate existing savings.
  2. Municipal governments can also catalyze residential and business participation in clean energy projects, driving cost and energy savings and simultaneously creating a more economic- and climate-resilient community. New municipal initiatives and program offerings provide insight into how to plan for and implement similar efforts in your community!

Two panels of experts will present multiple perspectives on each of these topics, followed by discussion with attendees. The forum will provide valuable information to help expand and strengthen local clean energy planning processes, no matter what stage. We welcome your participation in the discussion!
