Commuting Matters: Transportation Strategies for Municipalities and Employers

Please join us for a free breakfast forum sponsored by MAPC and MassCommute about how cities, towns, and employers can work together to reduce traffic, enhance prosperity, improve environmental quality, and provide better transportation options for employees and residents.

MassCommute and MAPC will present the findings from two recent research papers (links below) and then convene a panel discussion of business and municipal stakeholders who have successfully created partnerships to implement Transportation Demand Management (TDM) programs.

The forum will also feature City of Salem Mayor Kimberley Driscoll. The Mayor views access to transportation as integral to the City of Salem's economic vitality. She will discuss the importance of advancing programs and policies, as well as developing infrastructure that promotes transportation choices and enhances mobility for residents, employees, and the many tourists who visit the city.
