Join us on Sunday, November 18 for a day of learning and connecting with others in the community housing sector at the 2018 Housing Central Conference!
The AGM day is structured so that co-op delegates who can only attend on the day of the annual general meeting can participate in the full conference experience. We look forward to welcoming you for the breakfast and lunch plenaries, education breakout sessions, the AGM and the evening Sector Supper with live entertainment at the new location, the Sheraton Vancouver Wall Centre in downtown Vancouver.
Many of the education sessions on the morning of November 18 reflect the similar challenges faced by both co-op and non-profit housing providers. Co-op delegates can choose from sessions along three major education streams in leadership, operations and asset management to add value to their AGM experience and learn best practices in the community housing sector.
The AGM features discussions on the board report, election of directors, the auditor’s report and appointment of the auditor.

All fees include 5% GST.
If you want to get the full experience of the conference, and you've registered for our AGM, you can register for the much larger Housing Central Conference on Monday and Tuesday, November 19 and 20 at an exclusive rate. We'll be holding an election for six at-large directors positions and two finance committee positions. Read the Call for Candidates and download the Candidate's Declaration Form and send it back to us at members@chf.bc.ca. Nomination deadline is 4:30 p.m. November 12, 2018.
CALL FOR RESOLUTIONS
All members are encouraged to submit a resolution to be considered at the AGM. Download the Call for Resolutions Form and submit to us at members@chf.bc.ca by 9:00 a.m. November 5, 2018.
We will invoice your co-op for all registrations after the AGM. We will also invoice your co-op/organization for cancellations received after Thursday November 15, 2018.
Please note: Co-ops from Vancouver Island and outside of the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley will receive a $75 travel rebate for each member registered to attend our AGM.
