2018 A Day with DOH Workshop

Last year's Day with DOH was a great success and played to a packed house.  The 2018 Day with DOH Workshop is moving to a larger venue and will include new presentations, panel discussions and demonstrations.  Topics covered include:

  • Regulation update and emerging issues
  • E.coli response planning
  • Treatment plant performance partnerships
  • Water Treatment Jeopardy featuring three teams of operators, regulators and managers
  • Chlorine residual challenge - bring or borrow a digital colorimeter and conduct readings to compare accuracy, repeatability and precision against others
  • Creating success - a panel discussion with utility owners, certified operators and satellite managers

Cost is $80 per attendee for individual or utility members of AWWA or WEF  - $105 after Monday March 16th.

$105 per attendee for non-members of AWWA or WEF - $130 after Monday March 16th.

Small System Operators and Student Scholarships - To encourage participation from small utilities (less than 500 connections) and from college, university and technical program students, the Northwest Washington Subsection will pay workshop registration fees for 2 operators from small utilities and any student.  To be eligible for a small systems scholarship please register and pay for the workshop and on the registration form indicate the utility name and number of connections.  If your registration is one of the first two received, your registration fee will be refunded following completion of the workshop.  First Come - First Served.  

To be eligible for a student scholarship please list your institution, click "pay by check" and phone or email the contact in the upper left column for further information.

Cancellation Policy - If a registrant is unable to attend the event and a substitute within the organization can attend, please contact Jeff Lundt at jeff.lundt@kingcounty.gov to update information.  If unable to attend or send a substitute contact the above at least one week before the event for a refund (minus a $10 processing fee).  Refunds after that time will not be given.

If the workshop is cancelled due to lack of registration or another reason, full refunds will be provided.
