The 2015 Region V Leadership and Professional Development Conference comes at a time when the need for outstanding leadership in Head Start and early childhood education is at an all time high, and when the need for high levels of professionalism and professional development  in Head Start is anchored in national, regional and state initiatives and priorities. 

The future of Head Start is in our hands and how we approach ensuring its success is a critical part of the leadership challenges we face.

 This Conference will focus on these leadership challenges.  We have partnered with both the Office of Head Start and the Regional Office to identify pressing issues related to program design and management; fiscal operations; component area service delivery and parent involvement. 

  The Region V Conference will provide the unique opportunity for participants to engage with Federal Staff and Regional Office staff to address  national, regional and state specific issues.
