Purpose of Offering: To educate rehabilitation nurses about sexuality and modifications for the disabled person.
Learner Objectives:
1. Define sexuality and body image.
2. Identify attitudes and barriers limiting intimacy in individuals with physical disabilities.
3. Provide assessments to identify barriers limiting sexual intimacy in individuals with physical disabilities.
4. Discuss a variety of interventions to remediate or modify barriers that impede sexual participation in individuals with physical disabilities.
