2012 Vogelsberg

Eric Vogelsberg will discuss the current M&A environment and its key underlying trends and drivers, sharing Kline's views on the impact on the personal care value chain.  He will examine how the continued consolidation and evolution of players is altering the structure of this business and the competitive landscape, increasing our undertanding of why personal care remains one of the hottest spaces in M&A.

Mr. Vogelsberg is a Senior Vice President, M&A and Corporate Development Practice at Kline & Company.  During his 27 year tenure with Kline, Eric has advised clients on a range of corporate finance matters,  including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, asset sales, as well as the development and execution of the strategies underlying these transactions. 

For the past 15 years, he has been the principal responsible for the majority of the nearly 100 transactions for which the firm has been retained, across its four core industry verticals:

     - Chemicals and Materials     - Energy      - Consumer Products    - Life Sciences

Eric has lead the evolution of Kline's M&A portfolio from an acknowledged leader in the development of market and competitive intellignce for buy-side transactions to a full-service, global M&A and corporate development advisory.  In M&A, he has driven the expanion of the firm's relationships both within its traditional client base of privately held companies and publicly traded multinational coprorations in its core industries and wtih financial sponsors such as private equity groups, investment banks, and venture capital firms, as well as corporate turnaround and retructuring firms.
