Gateway Pet Guardians will host our fourth annual Soiree for Strays Gala on Friday November 1, 2013 at Empire Hall on California at Cherokee. For 2013, we will hold an art sale and auction to benefit Gateway Pet Guardians. This fundraising gala has become the signature event for Gateway Pet Guardians and we invite you to become a sponsor for this very special evening.

Animals have always been a source of inspiration and creativity. This event will celebrate the loving bond between animals and humans, raise awareness of animal issues and peer into the lives of those who have lived on the streets and survived against all odds.  Stories of love and tales of hope will be told through the eyes of many local artists.  Featured at the event is Gateway Pet Guardians photographer David Carlyon. 

The gala and reception will be held at Empire Hall, one of St Louis’ newest event spaces! Guests will also enjoy live entertainment, cocktails, and a delicious made from scratch appetizer buffet featuring several vegan.  There will be art from every medium…live art, performance art, art for sale, art to bid on, poetry, live music, dancers and that’s just the beginning!

ARE YOU AN ARTIST?

Participation is open to all artists. Artwork must be original and have animals, animal issues or pets as the central theme. We invite artists to use our foster dogs as “subjects” for your work. However, that is not mandatory. All media will be considered for inclusion. We will also be looking for artists to perform poetry, music, dance and live art for auction.
