You are invited to a program on proposal writing to be held on September 25th, 3:30-5:00 pm in the Barker Center Plimpton Room; refreshments will be provided.

The Art of Proposal Writing program is designed for arts and humanities and social sciences faculty who plan to apply for external funding, with a focus on writing fellowship and sabbatical proposals. The program will feature a panel of two senior FAS faculty who have written award-winning proposals, Alexander Rehding and Erez Manela; each will provide strategies for developing a successful proposal based on their own experiences as successful grant writers. Cynthia Verba, Director of Fellowships in the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, will also share a list of her top five proposal writing strategies. There will be ample opportunity for discussion.

Alexander Rehding, Fanny Peabody Professor of Music; Affiliate of the Department of Germanic Languages and Literatures; Chair of the Department of Music
Erez Manela, Professor of History

Please register by Friday, September 20th.
