Jason is the Head of Internal Audit and Chair of the Enterprise Risk Council for CRS, an international development agency operating in over 70 countries.  Has over twenty years of leadership experience delivering internal audit; technology assurance; risk and compliance; and business advisory services at corporate and non-profit entities in the Americas, Europe, Asia, and Africa. He currently serves on The Institute of Internal Auditors’, Washington, DC Chapter Board of Governors.

Sharon is the President and CEO of Growing Edge, LLC, providing career and life success coaching and professional development training to support individuals and groups in overcoming barriers to achieving their personal and professional goals.  She also offers operations management and strategic consulting to assist clients in improving their business operations and processes. Growing Edge was born out of Sharon’s extensive experience informally coaching and mentoring new and seasoned professionals and students, as well as her desire to see people achieve career satisfaction and life balance as they pursue their passions.

Sharon previously served for eight years as the Vice President, Audit and Advisory Services at AARP where she directed all aspects of the management and operation of the audit department in performing independent appraisal and consulting activities of AARP and its affiliated entities.  During her 22 year career in AARP’s audit department, Sharon was instrumental in automating department workflow processes, including audit committee and senior management quarterly reporting, developing a staff training curriculum to resolve gaps, improve client service offerings and address the demands of the changing organization, and working with senior management to improve the effectiveness and integration of risk management activities across the enterprise. Her prior experience also includes public accounting, corporate accounting and internal audit services in the healthcare and retail industries.       

Sharon has served as a panel speaker on various topics for the DC Chapter of the Institute of Internal Auditors, and assisted in facilitating a training course for the CIA exam.  She currently serves as Board Chair for the DC Chapter of the IIA, and Co-Chair of the International Coach Federation Maryland Chapter Professional Development Committee. 

Sharon holds a Bachelor of Accountancy degree from George Washington University.  She also holds several professional designations, including Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), and Certification in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA).  Sharon has also completed an International Coach Federation approved coach training program to compliment her years of coaching and mentoring individuals from various backgrounds and fields of study.

Lee Wyckoff, MS, CPA, CIA, CISA

Mr. Lee Wyckoff serves as the Vice President for Audit with the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority.  Prior to joining the Airports Authority in 2015, Mr. Wyckoff served as the first Inspector General for the State of Utah.  He has also worked as an auditor with progressive levels of responsibility within KPMG, LLP, Genworth Financial, Inc. and WellPoint, Inc. (a BlueCross BlueShield licensee).  Mr. Wyckoff, a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor, and a Certified Information Systems Auditor, is a graduate of Johns Hopkins University (M.S., Engineering – Information Systems) and Towson University (B.S., Accounting).

Adrienne Ommaya currently serves as the Senior Director of Information Security, Governance, Risk & Compliance for the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC). Adrienne leverages nearly two decades of internal audit and risk management experience to lead teams toward high impact organizational improvement. Over the past 18 years, Adrienne has worked in audit and risk management roles in various industries, such as financial services, technology, legal, and hospitality. Adrienne possesses a deep knowledge and focus on strategic and risk-based models for audit and risk management functions. With experience serving on Boards of Directors and as Acting CIO, Adrienne has the ability to understand the impact of business decisions from various perspectives, and understands the delicate balance necessary in business interactions.

Adrienne holds numerous certifications, including Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), ITIL  v.3 (F, P), COBIT, Certified in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Internal Controls Auditor (CICA), and is Accredited in Quality Assurance Review.

Jon T. Rymer, CIA, CGAP

Jon T. Rymer is a Director at Lynch Consultants and is responsible for the firm’s federal civilian agencies consulting practice. Mr. Rymer joined Lynch Consultants in August 2016. Prior to joining Lynch, Mr. Rymer was nominated by President Obama and confirmed by the U.S. Senate as the Inspector General for the U.S. Department of Defense. Mr. Rymer led a staff of over 1500 employees whose mission is to reduce waste fraud and abuse in the programs and operations of the Department of Defense. He served in this position until January 2016. Mr. Rymer was awarded the Department of Defense Medal for Distinguished Public Service by the Secretary of Defense upon completion of his tenure at DoD. Before joining DOD, Mr. Rymer was nominated by President Bush and confirmed by the U.S. Senate to serve as the Inspector General for the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. He served in this position from July 2006 to September 2013. Concurrent with his service at FDIC, Mr. Rymer served as the Interim Inspector General of the Securities and Exchange Commission from May 31, 2012, until January 31, 2013.

Mr. Rymer is a Certified Internal Auditor and a Certified Government Auditing Professional and served for eight years as the Chair of the Audit Committee of the Council of the Inspectors General on Integrity and Efficiency. Mr. Rymer also served as a member of the Comptroller General’s Advisory Council on Government Auditing Standards (the Yellow Book) and he served as Chair of the Government Accountability Office’s Green Book Advisory Council. He served on the Federal Accounting Standards Advisory Board’s Accounting and Auditing Policy Committee as well.

Mr. Rymer has been recognized for significant accomplishments in the profession of auditing. In 2016 he was named a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) Hall of Distinguished Practitioners and he was named one of the "Most Influential Federal Auditors" by the IIA in 2014. He was also awarded the Association of Government Accountants Distinguished Federal Leadership Award in 2015.

Prior to entering federal civilian service, Mr. Rymer served as a Director at the accounting firm of KPMG LLP, where he led an auditing and advisory practice that assisted clients on matters of business process improvement, quality assurance processes, and internal auditing.

Mr. Rymer served for more than 33 years in the active and reserve components of the U.S. Army. He is a graduate of the U.S. Army Sergeants Major Academy and the U.S. Army Inspector General School. His military awards include the Legion of Merit, Meritorious Service Medal with oak leaf cluster and the Humanitarian Service Medal.

Mr. Rymer holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Tennessee and a Masters of Business Administration degree from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.

Roger Ngong, CIA, CFE, CISA

Roger Ngong is the Director of Internal Audit at Save the Children US (SCUS). He has extensive experience leading complex audits in multiple sectors including financial services, non-profit organizations, and government-funded projects. He combines an in depth understanding of auditing in the non-profit sector with a background in operations management and compliance at non-profit field and corporate levels. Prior to SCUS, Roger was with Catholic Relief Services (CRS) where he held several positions including Sr. Auditor, Grants Analyst and Deputy Country Director in Africa. Roger leads audit activities around IT Security, project governance and has supported Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) initiatives in his current role. Roger holds several professional designations in the audit field including Certified Internal Audit (CIA), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), and Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA). He recently completed a Graduate diploma in Cyber Security Strategy and Policy.

Carolyn Ramona Hantz
Assistant Inspector General for Audit Policy and Oversight

Ms. Hantz leads a team of 39 expert auditors in the Office of Inspector General, Department of Defense, with a large mission to provide policy and oversight throughout the Defense audit community including 22 audit organizations with over 6,400 auditors, non-Federal auditors performing Single Audits for the Department, and contracting officials implementing contract audit recommendations.  Ms. Davis oversees the performance of external quality control reviews of Defense audit organizations quality control systems.  She also provides oversight of and conducts quality control reviews of single audits of not-for-profit organizations, colleges, universities, state and local governments.  She oversees the completion of Defense Hotlines and oversight reviews of contracting officials’ implementation of audit recommendations.

Ms. Hantz launched the “Fraud Indicators in Procurement & Other Defense Activities Website” for use in detecting fraud and orchestrated the 1st OIG DoD Fraud Conference in June 2009 with 320 professionals from over 60 organizations including directing a filmed video fraud scenario titled “Lies and More Lies” and wrote and filmed 8 fraud infomercials for the Panel on Contracting Integrity.  She and her team issued reports on contracting actions involving Iraq Reconstruction Activities, Defense Contract Audit Agency audit work; Single Audit quality review reports (covering $1 billion of expenditures); and the DoD Audit Manual.  In February 2017, Ms. Hantz appeared on the television show “Government Matters” discussing one of her recent reports on contracting officer actions in the Department of Defense.
