FPA of Florida invites you to:
Enhancing Your Ethical Intelligence

Have you adapted your practice to meet the new CFP Board Code of Ethics and Standards of Conduct?

Satisfying the CFP Board Ethics requirement is not something to which we all look forward, but it is necessary to maintain certification. Think of it as taking a step back from the daily rush to reflect on how you run your practice and make decisions. In doing so, you not only enhance your ability to take the best possible care of your clients but also protect yourself and everything you’ve worked so hard to build. It is a worthwhile investment of your time. Bonnie Kirchner, CFP®, MST, presents ETHICS CE: CFP Board’s Revised Code and Standards/Enhancing Your Ethical Intelligence.

This session will cover the required CFP Board learning objectives and qualifies for two hours of ethics CE credit.

TWO-STEP REGISTRATION REQUIRED: This class requires a two-step registration process.
STEP 1: Secure and pay for your class using the "REGISTER NOW" button below.
STEP 2: Once STEP 1 is completed, you will receive an automatic confirmation email that includes the link to the Zoom registration page.

For security and authentication purposes, both steps must be completed in order to access the Ethics webinar. Even if you intend to join a chapter watch party (see below), you MUST complete both steps of the registration process in order to obtain the continiung education credits..

JOIN A CHAPTER WATCH PARTY!

Some Florida chapters may be hosting an in-person networking luncheon prior to an Ethics watch party (stream it to the group). Visit your chapter's website to see if it is hosting an Ethics watch party.

Change your mind? If you decide not to attend the chapter watch party, you can still gain access to the Ethics class on your own as you will have completed both steps in our registration process. Every registree will receive an email confirmation with their Zoom login information one day prior to the class.

ABOUT BONNIE KIRCHNER:

Attend this special Ethics class featuring Bonnie Kirchner, CFP®, MST.

Bonnie, a CFP® who is also an instructor in the CFP Board program at Bentley University in Massachusetts, developed her CFP Board Ethics program after colleagues insisted she share her personal story as a cautionary lesson for others. Bonnie has over 25 years experience in financial services and is the author of Who Can You trust With Your Money?.  Years ago, when she co-anchored a morning drive radio business magazine, “Early Exchange,” and was the daily financial reporter for Boston’s CBS affiliate, her then husband confessed to her that he was running a Ponzi investment scheme. Join this event to hear Bonnie's dramatic journey and how she protected her reputation while navigating an ethical crisis. Attendees will also hear Bonnie's insights into  scammers, issues around trust and money, protecting oneself during ethical accusations, as well as rebounding from crisis.
