FPA of Florida Council invites you to a:
Member Game Night

Join Financial Planning Association (FPA) members across Florida for a night of trivia, games and interactive fun!

In recognition of National Financial Planning Month (October), FPA of Florida Council is hosting a LIVE virtual Game Night for active FPA members across Florida on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at 5:30pm (EST). A minimum $10 buyin is required to play. Proceeds from the event will be donated to United Way of Florida's "Disaster Recovery Fund," to support Hurricane Ian & Nicole recovery efforts in counties hardest hit. Registration for Game Night closes on Monday, November 28th so sign up early (see link below). 

NOTICE: FPA members outside of Florida are welcome to participate in Game Night so we can make
a bigger impact on disaster outreach efforts in Florida. However, only FPA members from Florida chapters will compete for Game Night prizes as those items are being funded by FPA of Florida Council.

Players will compete in three (3) rounds of LIVE quizzes, questions and video games that will test their planner knowledge and sharpen their skills as a 21st Century financial planning professional. The players who answer a question correctly will receive 1 point. The five Florida FPA members with the most points will compete in a tie-breaker round. The player who answers the questions fastest and correctly will be named 2022 Game Night Champion.

GAME RULES: Individual play only. No teams. A player must answer all questions to qualify for prizes. The winning chapter will be determined using points earned by only those players who answered all the questions. Questions must be answered using the Zoom on-screen popup feature. Players posting answers in the chat will be fined $10 per infraction (remember, this is for charity).

MOBILE DEVICE USERS: If you intend to use a mobile device to access Zoom, please turn OFF your microphone in the Zoom App before you log into the LIVE event. If you do not Mute Your Microphone before you enter the meeting, you may be removed from the meeting so you can make the changes to your settings before you log back in. This is to avoid audio feedback commonly caused by cell phone microphones.

For Android users: Open the Zoom App, click “…(More)”, then “Meetings >”, then toggle the “Mute My Microphone” option to green (on).

For iPhone users: Open the Zoom App, click the gear icon in the upper left corner. Open “Meetings”, then toggle the “Always Mute My Microphone” to green (on).
