Math Cadre 2, Year-One Winter Training

Tier 2: Interventions, Intervention Placement and Assessment

Hotel Eugene (Formerly known as the Eugene Hilton)

The focus of this training is on developing effective math interventions and using assessments to build a strong RTI Tier 2 system. The trainig will allow districts to begin to develop standards of practice for math interventions and data based decision making.

This one-day training will cover:

• Interventions
• Intervention Placement
• Assessment: Progress Monitoring

Teams will be given time to action plan and begin to design their Tier 2 Math system.

**Please bring an example of an intervention lesson from your core program or an intervention lesson from an intervention program that you are using.

Who should attend? Members of the District Implementation Leadership Team should register for this training. It is essential that each person who plans to attend complets the registration process so that we have accurate information for planning. Please contact your ORTIi Coach if you have questions about who should register.

When: January 24th, 8:30am - 3:30pm (doors open at 8:00am)

Lunch and coffee service will be provided.
