ORTIi Annual Conference Series - 1st Day - Equity - February 17, 2021 

Keynote Speaker: Dr. Rich Milner

 Oregon Response to Instruction and Intervention (ORTIi) is pleased to open registration for the 1^st day of the 2021 ORTIi Annual Conference Series. This first day, Building Multi-Tiered Systems on a Foundation of Equity, will take place on February 17, 2021 from 8:15 AM – 12:30 PM PST and will be completely virtual, and completely free!

 Multi-Tiered Systems of Support, or MTSS, provides a useful framework for delivering what each and every student needs. But these multi-tiered systems must be built upon a foundation of equitable mindsets and practices in order to truly address the needs of all our students, regardless of race, gender, language, disability status, sexual orientation, or socioeconomic status.

 Please join us for this half-day exploring how we can improve our multi-tiered systems to ensure equitable opportunities and outcomes for our students. Following an opening keynote from Dr. Rich Milner, breakout session topics will include family engagement, improving student-teacher relationships, a framework for educational equity based on dignity, ensuring access for marginalized student groups, and other considerations for building equitable MTSS.

 All sessions will be presented via Zoom. The digital program for the conference will be available in January and will be sent out to all registrants prior to February 17, 2021.
