Diabetes Footcare May 26 & 27, 2020
This 2 day course includes some general updates of diabetes and the impact of the disease on the feet and lower extremities. The role of the nurse in comprehensive footcare assessment, ulcer prevention and footcare management is emphasized. Various assessment tools will be discussed. A clinical component highlighting risk assessment skills is included.Prerequisite – Footcare certificate.
