Learn more about Selex Galileo Inc.

Located at the Stennis International Airport in Kiln, Mississippi, the SELEX Galileo Security Assistance Support Center (SASC) provides warfighters and first responders with a new, unique set of capabilities, perfect for a variety of training missions.

With combined access to sea, land and air in a semi-private setting and coupled with an exclusive acoustic easement zone afforded by its proximity to the NASA Space Center, Stennis offers our customers an exceptional operational training environment that is unmatched anywhere in the United States.  The SASC itself includes an 8,500 ft. C-5 capable runway within the acoustic easement zone, a state-of-the-art Integrated Support Facility (ISF), an Engineering Support Facility (ESF) and two large aircraft hangars capable of housing up to (3) C-130 Hercules Model Aircraft simultaneously for integration and modification services.

The Integrated Support Facility was specifically designed to support a variety of specialized training exercises and courses. Built to print with the end-users in mind, the facility offers 19,000 square feet of climate-controlled space, to include an operations room that allows users to simulate a fully-functional Joint Operations Command Center / Emergency Operations Center , complete with live Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) streaming capability.  The video system can accommodate up to 12 separate feeds simultaneously, providing customers complete situation-based flexibility. The facility also boasts Defense Security Service (DSS) compliant secure rooms, and an armory for secure weapons storage. The whole building is equipped with cutting-edge IT features that include a dedicated plug and play server room with both classified and unclassified network capability, a raised network floor with NIPR/SIPR net connections, extensive security camera system, and a backup generator and emergency back-up uninterrupted power system. The entire facility is designed to allow the user to conduct various training activities all while maintaining a low signature profile, a key differentiating factor for special operations communities and international partners.

SELEX partners with small businesses on a variety of different opportunities.  We are always looking to grow our list of local small businesses, so be sure to bring your business cards to this event.
