In collaboration with Northwest Minnesota Foundation (NMF), the Northwest Small Business Development Center (NW SBDC) has partnered with Google to bring in representatives to assist you in setting up a website for your business! There will be people at this event to help you set up your website that day!

Don't delay--get online, get found, get sales, and grow your business!

Minnesota Get Your Business Online is an easy, free, and fast way to get your business online. With professional templates and a few easy steps, you can create and publish a website for your business in less than 60 minutes. There's no catch and no cost. 

If you’re not online, you’re invisible to customers who are looking online for businesses like yours. You can change that today.

Register for an individual session or all of them!

Session 1: Northwest MN Get Your Business Online (8:30-10:00)

Learn how to create and publish a free website for your business or nonprofit in less than 90 minutes at our event and learn how to customize your Google Local online listing.

Session 2: Northwest MN Grow Your Business Online (10:30-12 noon)

Discover how to get found and attract patrons. Learn more about Google’s top tools to enhance your Google and online presence, including Google Local, Google AdWords, Google Analytics, Google+ and Google Apps

 LUNCH BREAK - Lunch will be provided for all attendees!

Session 3: Google + (1:00 - 2:30)

Learn about Google's new social media platform and how it can benefit your organization!

Session 4: Google for Nonprofits (3:00 - 4:30)

Apply for the Google for Nonprofits program and get access to exclusive products and resources to help your organization expand its impact for FREE. This session will provide information on:

  • Google Grants: Free AdWords advertising to promote your website on Google through keyword targeting
  • YouTube for Nonprofits: Premium branding capabilities on YouTube channels, increased uploading capacity, the ability to select custom thumbnail images, and Call-to-action overlay on your videos
  • Google Earth Outreach Grants: Free licensing for Google Earth Pro, Google SketchUp Pro and Maps API Premier
  • Google Apps for Nonprofits: Free version of Google Apps for Nonprofits, which includes Google Email Platform, Google Docs, Google Calendar, 24/7 customer support, and more

Please bring your own personal laptop! There will be a limited number of MacBook Air laptops available at this event. Please indicate during registration if you need to reserve one to use during the workshop.
