Covered Employers
Covered employers must pay covered non-exempt employees at least the federal wage, which is currently $7.25 per hour, for all hours worked, and overtime (time and one-half the regular rate of pay) for all hours worked over 40 in a work week.
Employers
Employers must ensure accurate classification of exempt and non-exempt employees, and maintain records required by the Act, including but not limited to time and day of week when an employee's work week begins, hours worked each day, and total hours worked each workweek.
