13th ANNUAL NC JUNETEENTH CELEBRATION (Vendor Registration Form) 

The 13th Annual NC Juneteenth Celebration will be held in Durham, NC (city in which the Civil War and thus, slavery, ended 152 years ago) on June 17, 2017 in downtown Durham from 1:00 pm until 10:00 pm. This fun filled, educational and uplifting event includes entertainment throughout the day featuring national recording artist and local performers, food & merchandise vendors, health fair, kids' zone, exhibitors & more!

The event is sponsored by Spectacular Magazine and Triangle Cultural Awareness Foundation and organized by Another Coley Event, a Durham-based full service event planning firm.

VENDOR GUIDELINES

Please read all rules and guidelines below. Then click on REGISTER NOW (left) to complete registration form. If you have questions please feel free to contact us BEFORE completing form.

VENDOR SPACES:

  • Merchandise and exhibitor booth space is 10” X 10’;
  • Food vendor space is 15“ X 10” unless otherwise indicated on vendor form;

MOBILE FOOD TRUCK ONLY:

  • All vendor equipment, displays, stands, tents, tables and supplies must be provided by vendor and contained within this space. Spaces are very limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis;
  • All vendor spaces are outside.

VENDOR FEES & PAYMENTS:

  • Exhibitor: $75.00
  • Merchandise vendor: $150.00
  • Food Vendor: $250.00

~ NO TENTS OR TABLES WILL BE PROVIDED.

~ All fees are non-refundable and due by May 22nd.

~ If space is available after May 22nd, a $25.00 late fee will be charged for each booth rental.

~ Vendor understands and agrees that he or she will assume full responsibility for all taxes, licenses etc. including sales tax on items sold.

VENDING INFORMATION:

  • Booth vending times are from 1:00 pm until 10:00 pm.
  • Set up begins at 9:00 am. No vendor will be permitted to set up prior to this time.
  • Set up must be complete by 12:30 pm; breakdown must be completed by 11:30 pm.
  • Food vendors should have menus approved to ensure a variety of food choices.
  • Mobile food units ONLY.

INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS:

All food vendors must present a Certificate of Liability Insurance with Triangle Cultural Awareness Foundation/ Another Coley Event as insured

POLICIES AND PROCEDURES:

  • Durham County Health Department - Environmental Health Division requires all food vendors to complete a temporary Food Event Coordinators Application and pay the fee in advance to the Durham County Health Department eight (8) days before the event. Please obtain application and/or more information by calling (919) 560-7800.
  • Vendors will comply with all laws, ordinances, orders, decrees, rules and regulations of any lawful authority, agency or government unit which apply to the use of their vending during the Celebration, and agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the organizers, its officers, directors, representatives, employees, agents, volunteers and sponsors for any penalties, fines, costs, expenses or damages.
  • Vendors assume all responsibilities for any loss, damage, claim or other injury to the vendor, his or her employees, agents or representatives, or to any property or goods of the same, whether caused by fire, theft, act of God, accident or any cause whatsoever, for the period the vendor or his or her property or goods occupy the site and shall indemnify and hold harmless the Celebration, Triangle Cultural Awareness Foundation/Another Coley Event, City of Durham & their employees, agents and representatives from any and all such loss, damage, injury or other expense relating thereto.
  • The Celebration will not refund any fees/expenses in the event of adverse weather.
  • Vendor must restore space to its original condition. Cooking oil must be removed from the site during break down and cleanup. Trash must be put in receptacle.
  • Vendors will not distribute literature or provide any advertisement for any organization unless literature or advertisement is approved by the Celebration staff.
