Join the KDA family and researchers for three days of in-depth presentations on what is working and what isn't quite getting it done.  This is a no holds barred discussion that is much appreciated by all the patients and families.  You will hear how different devices have become life savers, how different drugs have turned around a bad situation, and some pretty funny times as well.  The researchers will give the real meat and potatoes of what they are working on and our very own interpreter will translate it in English so we can understand it and explain it to our relatives.  This conference is one of the very few that researchers from different labarotories across the globe sit down and compare notes and make presentations to one another on what they are doing.  Competitive pressures keep that from happening in most environments, we are truly an exception.  You will also get the opportunity to meet and spend time one on one with all of these distinguished scientists during the conference.  They want to spend time with you as much as you want to spend time with them.
