Moving Forward Together: 2020 KDA/KD-UK Conference

Please join us for the 2020 KDA/KD-UK Conference: Moving Forward Together, supporting both our organizations' goals to find a cure for and improve the lives of those living with Kennedy's Disease. This will be our first joint event and our first conference held entirely online.

While the Covid-19 pandemic has forced both the KDA and the KD-UK to abandon plans for in-person events this year, it has also offered us an opportunity to work together and bring the global KD community together to present the latest information on KD in a concise and accessible format. 

The conference will be presented on the Zoom platform and will run four hours each day, starting at 10:00 U.S. East Coast time and 15:00 UK time. Most presentations will be live, but recordings of the talks will be available to all those who register. A detailed agenda and more specific instructions will be available shortly and will be included in future announcements and emails sent to all registrants. 
 
Wednesday Oct. 14 will feature patient-focused talks designed to increase our understanding of KD and provide concrete strategies for living with it. Thursday, Oct. 15 will be devoted to research, emphasizing those efforts that may soon be ready to move from the lab to clinical trials. The valuable information you will derive from these talks cannot be obtained from any other source. 

For all KD Men: The Kennedy's Disease Clinic at University College London is conducting a survey to find out which symptoms you feel deserve more research and focus. Whether you will be attending the conference or not, we invite all of you to complete the survey here. The results will be presented at the conference on October 14.
