Your résumé is often the first opportunity you will have to make an impression on a potential employer or client, so make it a positive one! A résumé crafted with today’s best practices will effectively introduce your brand, showcase your accomplishments and qualifications, and influence the reader as to why they need to hire you!

Today’s résumé is a branding document, a marketing document, a networking document, and a financial document. It’s not your father’s résumé anymore! Learn the best practices in résumé writing today and how the right job search tools can set you apart from the competition and set you up for greater career success.

Cathy Lanzalaco founded Write-Résumé-For-The-Job after serving for many years as a senior level human resources leader in the warehouse, healthcare, and grocery industries. No stranger to reinventing and launching new careers for herself, she now helps others make the changes they seek to improve the quality of their lives and achieve their career ambitions.

After working in human resources for over 15 years, reviewing thousands of résumés and interviewing hundreds of candidates, Cathy wanted to share her expertise and knowledge to help individuals looking for a new job, or a different career, and help them get the edge they needed to succeed. So, in January 2017, she launched Write-Résumé-For-The-Job and now successfully serves local and national job seekers and those transitioning into new careers. In addition to leading her successful business, Cathy is also an adjunct professor at Niagara University in Lewiston, NY teaching Human Resources Management to students in the College of Business.
