Illinois Epilepsy Advocacy Day

Join us on May 14th when we head on down to Springfield to advocate for people impacted by epilepsy. The Epilepsy Foundation Affiliates of Illinois will be meeting with our State Representatives to address important issues, such as the upcoming votes on bills that will include:

• epilepsy as a condition for which medical marijuana may be prescribed
• that will standardize the prior authorization of medications 
• that will cap the co-pay amount of medications. 

Our Congressmen need to know how much we need their support!

Before our scheduled meetings in the afternoon, we will discuss our main objectives and how to effectively advocate to legislators with our lobbyists and political allies, including Senator Dan Kotowski. A box lunch will be provided.
