GIS/SIG 25th Annual Conference

Please join us on April 12th, for the 25th Annual GIS/SIG Conference at the Burgundy Basin in Rochester, NY.

We are excited to welcome our keynote speaker Steve Coast, author, and founder of OpenStreetMap.  Steve will be presenting on the past, present and future of OpenStreetMap - discussing how to edit, licensing, community and more.  Steve will also discuss his new book, "The Book of OSM", containing interviews with 15 early adopters of OSM to capture the early growth and feeling of the project.  Steve will be visiting us from Denver where he lives with his wife, two kids and drive horses.

  • Featuring geospatial industry expert presentations, technical workshops, great networking opportunities, and our famous GeoJeopardy competition.
  • Attending our conference is a great way to earn GISP points, and connect with local GIS professionals!
  • We will have a map contest featuring three categories: Professional map, Student map, and best map or 3D model created from Drone captured imagery.  The winners of the Professional and Drone categories will receive a GoPro Hero HD action camera.  The winner of the Student category will receive a $100 scholarship award.

We will also give away a GoPro Hero HD action camera, and some  other awesome prizes at the end of the conference!  You must be present to win.
