DPA Retired Pilots Group (RPG) Registration 

Welcome to the home page of the DPA Retired Pilots Group.  This page is the collection point for retired Delta Pilots who wish to join with active Delta Pilots and DPA Members who are seeking exclusive representation for the Delta Pilot group.  We are glad to have your interest and participation.

WHY?  As a retired Delta Pilot, you have, no doubt, very strong feelings about this issue already.  Current line pilots at Delta Air Lines have reached a point in our careers where we believe it is in our collective best interest to separate from ALPA and begin promoting the needs of Delta Pilots (active and retired) exclusively.  It is not too late to recover the damage done to our profession due to ALPA's failure to represent mainline pilots exclusively.

HOW?  The process is simple, but very labor intensive.  We are tasked with a requirement by the National Mediation Board to obtain Authorization Cards from 50% plus one of the active pilot group in order to achieve a certification vote.  We currently have gathered over 4,500 members and are very close to our goal.  The final phase of our campaign is underway which is four-fold. 

1. We must gather the remaining Cards required.
2. We must renew the Cards that have expired. (1 year age limit)
3. We must encourage our members to vote for DPA.
4. We must further prepare to begin serving the Delta Pilot group.

WHAT?  What can you do to assist us?  The retired Delta Pilot community represents a tremendous asset base we can all benefit from.  DPA hopes to tap into your relationships, put some of your free time to good use, and learn from your wisdom and past experiences.

I WANT TO HELP, NOW WHAT?  First, register by selecting the link below.  We will collect some important information from you that will help us take the greatest advantage of your offer to assist.  We will select a retired Delta Pilot from this group to lead the effort and several local retirees around the current pilot bases to run the local groups.  Once the groups begin to take shape, we (DPA Leadership and the RPG Leader) will begin a variety of maneuvers designed to promote our goals listed above.

WHAT WILL DPA PROVIDE?  DPA will provide the technology to organize and efficiently operate the RPG.  DPA will provide ideas for the RPG to consider and execute.  DPA will provide promotional items to the RPG for distribution.

WHAT WILL THE RPG PROVIDE?  The RPG will provide additional exposure in all the current pilot bases through a variety of methods.  The RPG will be authorized to collect Authorization Cards from active pilots and forward them to DPA.  The RPG will promote additional support from active pilots through donations and volunteering.  The RPG will reach out to all acquaintances in promoting DPA.

IS THIS EVEN POSSIBLE?  Yes! As we are successful, the national labor landscape will change permanently.  This transformation began long before the DPA concept arrived through poor decision making at the ALPA National level.  DPA is a natural response to an irreparable problem.  With your additional horsepower and contributions, this change is accelerated and retired and active Delta Pilots will once again benefit from dedicated and exclusive representation.
